Testsailing the Windrider Rave 

The best meeting with the spectacular Rave is during a testsail. That’s the only way of experiencing the thrill of being faster than anyone else  on the water and that you can handle the boat even in extreme circumstances. The Rave is fitted on a special designed trailer, ready to come and testsail near you (providing you don't live too far away).

There are a few practical problems with making a testsail in the Windrider Rave;

	To learn about the full potential of the boat we require a windforce of at least 3.5 Bft. That doesn’t seem much but on some days the wind is less. So there is the possibility that you and we will come for nothing. This risk can be minimised by contacting us before you actually make the trip. If you come from far and the wind isn’t strong enough we can arrange for sleeping accommodation, so we can try to make the testsail the following day.The cost for this will be refunded when you order a Rave.
	Sailing a Windrider Rave is a sensation and therefore very popular. So popular that we can fill all hours of every day, week or month easily. That is a lot of fun but of course not our goal. That’s why we built in a financial threshold. We therefore charge Euro 90 (including Tax) for a testsail. This charge will be refunded when you order a Rave.
	The Windrider Rave is an open boat. That means that you are out in the open in any weather condition. You can stay warm and comfortable by wearing the right clothes. During the testsail we will provide you with a drysuit. However in the wintertime that is not sufficient. That is why we start testsailing the Rave when the weather permits it. (Normally between May and October)

We are less dependant on the weather when testsailing the Windrider 10, 16 or 17 Trimaran. In principle we can make testsails as long as the water is not frozen.
